In short

neurorehab.pl provides premium (VIP) home care for older adults in Nowy Targ and across the Nowy Targ and Tatra districts, including Zakopane. Care costs 75 PLN per hour + 23% VAT (92.25 PLN incl. VAT), with a minimum of 2 hours per visit; 4-week packages combine care with physiotherapy visits. Each senior has a regular carer and a deputy, the family has one care coordinator, and with the senior's consent we send a short update after every visit. Families abroad arrange everything by phone (+48 18 307 01 11) or e-mail.

What the carer does

  • help with washing, dressing and using the toilet, with respect for privacy
  • preparing or heating meals, help with eating, making sure the senior drinks enough
  • reminders to take medicines according to a written plan
  • support when getting up and walking, short walks, exercises recommended by our physiotherapist
  • company, conversation and simple memory activities
  • light housework, shopping and collecting prescriptions

Carers do not perform nursing procedures such as injections, wound dressing or catheter care. In Poland these are provided free of charge by a primary care nurse (pielęgniarka POZ) on a doctor's order.

Physiotherapy is VAT-exempt; care is subject to 23% VAT. Travel within Nowy Targ is included. Outside Nowy Targ the carer's travel fee is 49 PLN + VAT (60.27 PLN) per single visit and 35 PLN + VAT (43.05 PLN) per visit in packages. Saturdays after 2 pm, Sundays and public holidays +25%. Visits can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. If a package is ended early, the visits already used are charged at single-visit prices and the difference is refunded. How to arrange care from abroad

  1. Call +48 18 307 01 11 (Polish time, Mon-Fri 8:00-20:00, Sat 9:00-14:00) and describe your parent's needs.
  2. We start with an assessment visit at home: mobility, home safety and a care plan.
  3. We agree fixed days and hours and sign a written agreement; payment by bank transfer is possible.
  4. You receive updates after visits and a review every 4 weeks.

Our carers and assistants never drive seniors - not in a company car, their own car, or the senior's or family's car. For outings and doctor visits we travel together by taxi or a licensed transport service, by public transport, or in a car driven by a family member; the assistant accompanies the senior throughout.

Questions and answers

Can I arrange care for my mother in Nowy Targ while I live in the USA?

Yes. Everything can be arranged by phone and e-mail. With your mother's consent we keep you informed after visits and during the 4-week reviews.

Do you provide 24-hour live-in care?

No. We provide daytime visits, respite care and night care (12 hours). If round-the-clock care is needed, we help to plan how our visits can work together with family members or other services.

Is care in Poland subject to VAT?

Yes. Care services are subject to 23% VAT, so we show both the net price and the price including VAT. Physiotherapy is VAT-exempt.

Do you speak English?

Our team works mainly in Polish. When booking, tell us which language you prefer and we will do our best to help.
